Shubho Basu Nag is making a debut in direction of a Marathi film and he combines the Marathi and Bengali talent together in crafting this masterpiece ‘Avwanchhit’. 

As announced by a leading newspaper, the film’s mahurat was done in Kalighat since most of the film-crew belongs to Bengal, they have a special sentiment attached to it. Kishor Kadam, Abhay Mahajan, Mrinmayee Godbole, Mrunal Kulkarni, Dr.Mohan Agashe, Suhas Joshi, Yogesh Soman, Anupam Roy, Atul Jagadale, Yogesh Joshi and Barun Chanda will share the screen in this masterpiece helmed by Nag. 

Being a story of a father and son’s sensitive relationship the film touches a critical aspect of our lives, old age. This film promises to make you rethink about our societal values, life, and its lessons! This film is the first Marathi film to be shot in Kolkata. 

Kishor Kadam will be seen in the lead role in this film thus adding to the skillful representation of feelings. His work in Fandry, Balak Palak, Jogwa and Natrang has already established him as a seasoned actor. Mrunmayee Godbole who was last seen in ‘Ye Re Ye Re Paisa 2’ will be seen playing a significant role in this film.
